1. Project scope
The accepted offer describes the website, price, included work, milestones, and any connected services. Work outside that agreed scope may require a new quote and the customer’s approval before CESRB proceeds.
2. Customer materials and cooperation
The customer will provide requested copy, images, branding, approvals, access, and other materials in a timely manner and confirms it has the right to use them. Delays in customer materials or decisions may move the project schedule.
3. Revisions
A standard website build includes two reasonable revision rounds. A round may contain multiple related changes submitted together. Fixing CESRB mistakes, broken functionality, or a failure to match the agreed scope does not consume a revision round. Material scope expansion may require a new quote.
4. Payment and start of work
The accepted offer and Billing record control the project price and payment schedule. CESRB may begin substantive design or development after the required initial payment is settled. Subscription service periods and renewals remain governed by their separately disclosed terms.
5. Ownership after full payment
After full payment, the customer owns the finished customer-specific website and the customer’s copy, uploaded content, branding, images, and customer-specific deliverable. CESRB retains ownership of reusable software, platform code, libraries, templates, components, APIs, tooling, infrastructure, automation, and know-how.
Website ownership does not grant permanent access to managed hosting, Content/CMS, forms, Analytics, Schedule, Commerce, CESRB-managed integrations, or other subscription-only platform features. Those remain available only while the applicable subscription is active.
6. Refunds and project termination
Before substantive work begins, website-build payments may be refundable except for nonrecoverable third-party expenses. Once design or development begins, amounts representing work already performed are nonrefundable. If CESRB ends a project without customer breach or other legitimate cause, CESRB will refund the unearned portion. Nonrecoverable third-party costs may remain nonrefundable.
7. Delivery and warranty limits
CESRB will use reasonable care to deliver the agreed project. Websites depend on browsers, devices, networks, and third-party services; uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Any separate written warranty or service-level commitment controls if one is included in the accepted offer.
