1. Information CESRB processes
Depending on the services used, CESRB may process contact and business information; account and identity information; billing records; website and customer-provided content; Analytics information; forms and service activity; support communications; agreement acceptance records; authentication, security, and audit information; and basic technical or session information.
2. Why CESRB uses information
CESRB uses this information to provide, secure, support, and improve requested services; authenticate users; process and reconcile billing; communicate about accounts and service delivery; measure website and service activity; prevent fraud and abuse; preserve agreement and audit evidence; and meet accounting or legal obligations.
3. Payments
Payment-card processing is generally handled by CESRB’s payment provider. CESRB generally does not store full payment-card numbers itself. CESRB may retain provider references, payment status, invoice records, and other billing evidence needed to operate the account.
4. Service providers and disclosure
CESRB may use service providers for identity, hosting, infrastructure, communications, payments, analytics, monitoring, domains, and related operations. Information is shared only as reasonably needed for those functions, security, legal compliance, or a customer-authorized request. CESRB does not sell customer personal information for money.
5. Retention
Primary hosted website and content data is retained for approximately 60 days after hosting ends. Residual backups may remain through normal backup rotation for up to approximately 90 additional days. Financial, contractual, acceptance, audit, fraud and security, accounting, and legally required records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary.
6. Security and choices
CESRB uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to its services, but no system can guarantee perfect security. Customers may ask about, correct, or request appropriate handling of their information, subject to identity verification and records CESRB must retain for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
